Yoneda Labs secures $4M seed funding for expansion

Yoneda Labs, a San Francisco-based AI drug discovery startup, secured $4M in Seed funding.

Khosla Ventures led the round, with 500 Emerging Europe, 468 Capital, Fellows Fund, and Y Combinator also participating. The funds will bolster the development of their AI-powered chemical manufacturing model.

Yoneda Labs aims to build a robotics lab to conduct experiments on 20,000 chemical reactions, enhancing their AI model for chemists. By the end of the year, the company plans to analyze 200 experiments daily, similar to the output of 20 chemists.

Founded by Michal Mgeladze-Arciuch, Jan Oboril, and Daniel Vlasits, Yoneda Labs recently demonstrated significant improvements in suggesting reaction conditions, with a 95% success rate in trials.
