Völur, an Oslo-based AI software company optimizing the meat industry, raised $2.85M in funding.

Serra Ventures, York IE, Saria, and existing investors Idékapital, Fusion Fund, and Fortress Fund participated in the round.

The funds will be used for expanding operations and enhancing business outreach.

Led by CEO Anna Turvoll, Völur uses AI to improve carcass value optimization, balancing supply and demand to increase animal utilization by up to 10%.

Co-Founder Robert Ekrem remains on the Board of Directors to further support the company's strategic vision.
