Vantage Discovery, an Austin-based AI platform for ecommerce, raised $16M in Series A funding.

Lobby Capital led the round, with contributions from The Hive, Future Positive, Common Metal, plus tech icons Jony Ive, Evan Sharp, and Biz Stone.

Funds will be used to expand operations and enhance development efforts.

Co-founded by CEO Lance Riedel and COO Nigel Daley, Vantage Discovery offers a generative AI-powered SaaS platform that provides intelligent search and personalized recommendations.

With the Vantage API, apps can shift from keyword-based to semantic search, improving user intent and context understanding.
