UptimeAI secures $14M Series A for expansion
UptimeAI, a San Francisco-based provider of AI-powered plant monitoring software for industrial sectors, raised $14M in Series A funding.
WestBridge Capital led the round, with contributions from Emergent Ventures and Aditya Birla Ventures. The funds will be utilized for expanding operations and enhancing the AI Expert OEx platform.
Founded in 2019 by Jagadish Gattu and Vamsi Yalamanchili, UptimeAI is dedicated to assisting chemical, oil and gas, and utility firms in optimizing asset performance and addressing process anomalies.
Gattu stated, "Our vision is to embed SME expertise into a self-learning AI solution, accessible for operational excellence." The company, already profitable, generates 90% of its revenues from the U.S. and Middle East markets.
UptimeAI had previously raised $3.5M in seed funding in December 2022.
