Udio secures $10M seed funding for expansion

Udio, a NYC-based AI music creation platform, raised $10M in Seed funding.

Leading the round was a16z, with notable participation from will.i.am, Common, Kevin Wall, Tay Keith, Steve Stoute's UnitedMasters, Mike Krieger, and Oriol Vinyals.

The funds will support Udio's operational expansion and development efforts.

Founded by David Ding, Conor Durkan, Charlie Nash, Yaroslav Ganin, and Andrew Sanchez, Udio enables users to create fully mastered music tracks in under 40 seconds using AI and text descriptors.

Udio's app features a "remix" option for further customization and a community platform for feedback and collaboration, aiming to democratize music production.
