Timefold, based in Ghent, Belgium, specializes in AI-driven PlanningAI and raised €6M in funding.

The funding round was led by venture capital firm Lakestar, along with several other investors.

The funds will be used to launch Timefold's PlanningAI technology, aimed at optimizing complex business tasks.

Led by CEO Maarten Vandenbroucke and CTO Geoffrey De Smet, Timefold serves Fortune 500 clients, including Deutsche Bahn and Palantir, across the US, UK, and EU.

The company has onboarded senior executives from leading software firms like Showpad and Techwolf to drive its global expansion.
