Tembo secures $14M Series A for expansion
Tembo, a Cincinnati-based managed Postgres service provider, has raised $14M in Series A funding.
The funding round was led by GreatPoint Ventures, with contributions from Venrock, Grand Ventures, Wireframe Ventures, Defined Capital, Cintrifuse Capital, and angel investors. The investment will accelerate Tembo's operations and development efforts.
Tembo, led by CEO Ry Walker, delivers a managed service for organizations to utilize Postgres for various workloads, including transactional, analytical, and AI, across any cloud environment.
The company has recently expanded its executive team and plans to enhance its product offerings, leveraging the open-source capabilities of Postgres with added observability, compliance, and improved developer experience.
