Synthara secures $11M for AI chip development
Synthara, a Zurich-based semiconductor provider, raised USD 11M in funding.
The round was led by Vsquared Ventures, with participation from notable investors like OTB Ventures, Onsight Ventures, and Deeptech Labs.
Funds will be used to introduce ComputeRAMTM for embedded computing applications.
Founded in 2019, Synthara advances general-purpose embedded chips for AI-rich applications, aiming to lower costs and expedite time to market.
The company is involved in European projects like Rebecca and has received significant grants from Innosuisse and SERI, including CHF 2.5M to develop edge AI chips.
