Supermaven, a NYC-based AI-powered code completion provider, has raised $12M in Series A funding.

The funding round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from angel investors including John Schulman, Denis Yarats, Eoghan McCabe, and Mike Volpi.

Supermaven, led by CEO Jacob Jackson, will utilize the funds to develop a new text editor aimed at enhancing developers' efficiency.

The company's product is currently used by over 40,000 developers, integrating with VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, Neovim, and Zed.
