Sublime Security, a Washington, DC-based AI-powered email security platform, secured $20M in Series A funding.

The funding round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from Decibel Partners, Slow Ventures, and Dmitri Alperovitch, who also joined the Board of Directors.

The funds will be used to enhance the platform and improve the customer experience, according to CEO Josh Kamdjou.

Sublime Security provides a programmable cloud email security platform that tackles threats like BEC, malware, and phishing. The company's latest feature, Attack Score, uses explainable machine learning to prioritize email threats efficiently.

"The Sublime Platform is a modern approach to email security, offering customizable controls and community-driven protections," said Kamdjou.
