Slingshot AI, a mental health AI startup based in New York and London, has secured $30M in seed funding.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) with participation from Felicis Ventures, BoxGroup, and prominent individual investors like Gokul Rajaram and Jerry Murdock.

The funds will be utilized to expand Slingshot AI’s operations and further its development efforts in AI-driven behavioral health by partnering with global mental health providers.

Founded in 2022 by Daniel Reid Cahn and Neil Parikh, the company aims to leverage large-language models to enhance global mental health support. This funding will bolster their mission to offer advanced solutions to mental health challenges worldwide.
