Shaped.ai, a NYC-based AI recommendation and search platform provider, raised $8M in Series A funding.

Madrona Ventures led the round, with participation from Y-Combinator and industry leaders from Clickhouse, DocuSign, Okta, Rippling, and StitchFix. Madrona Managing Director Karan Mehandru joins the board.

The funds will enhance operational expansion and product development to drive personalization and user engagement.

Led by CEO Tullie Murrell, Shaped.ai uses AI to analyze user behavior, improving search relevance and boosting conversion rates for marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
