Root Signals, a Helsinki- and Palo Alto-based startup, raised $2.8M to advance generative AI measurement technologies.

Angular Ventures led the funding round, joined by Business Finland. The funds will be used for platform and model development, as well as boosting sales and marketing efforts.

Founded and led by Dr. Ari Heljakka, Root Signals aims to help companies manage and measure GenAI reliability issues, facilitating quick and detailed model comparisons.

The company's solutions are already utilized by independent software vendors, incumbent industry AI teams, and LLM consultants to gain a competitive advantage in their respective fields.
