Purple Transform nabs $4.5M for expansion
Purple Transform, an Oxford, UK-based AI data analytics platform, secured £4.5M in funding.
This round was led by Mercia Ventures via the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II, with support from Sure Valley Ventures.
The company plans to expand its operations in the West Midlands, scale activities following recent rail industry contract wins, and deploy its tech in new sectors.
Led by CEO Gregory Butler, Purple Transform uses its SiYtE system to aggregate data from over 900 rail network cameras and sensors, utilizing AI and machine learning to prevent theft, trespass, and antisocial behavior.
