Prime Intellect scores $5.5M seed round
Prime Intellect, a San Francisco-based decentralized AI platform, has raised $5.5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Distributed Global and CoinFund, with contributions from Compound, Collab+Currency, Protocol Labs, and notable angel investors.
Prime Intellect plans to use the funds to further develop its compute platform, facilitating decentralized training and co-ownership of AI models through contributions of compute, code, data, capital, or expertise.
Co-founded by Vincent Weisser and Johannes Hagemann, Prime Intellect's platform aggregates compute resources from multiple providers, offering cost-effective GPU access and optimized orchestration for AI training.
