Prepared, a NYC-based provider of AI emergency communication platforms, raised $27M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from First Round Capital, M13, and NewView Capital.

The funds will be used to expand operations and accelerate development efforts.

Prepared, under CEO Michael Chime, partners with nearly 1,000 agencies, offering AI-powered 911 technology like Prepared Assist and Emergency SOS Live Video integration.

Founded in 2019, the company aims to enhance public safety communications and currently supports 97 million people across 49 states.
