Patronus AI, a San Francisco-based AI and security startup, raised $17M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Glenn Solomon at Notable Capital, with support from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Datadog, and other prominent investors.

Funds will be used to expand AI research, engineering, and sales teams, as well as develop new benchmarks and train evaluation models.

Patronus AI's platform helps companies detect large language model (LLM) errors, providing tools to score, test, and benchmark models efficiently.
