Patlytics, a San Francisco-based AI patent platform, raised $4.5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Gradient with significant contributions from 8VC, Liquid 2 Ventures, Tribe Capital, Vermilion Ventures, Gaingels, Alumni Ventures, Position Ventures, and notable angel investors including Datadog President Amit Agarwal.

Funds will accelerate development of AI-driven patent workflow tools for corporations and law firms, enhancing processes like prosecution and litigation.

Founded by CEO Paul Lee and CTO Arthur Jen, Patlytics aims to revolutionize the patent industry by automating key tasks such as drafting and infringement evaluation.

The company collaborates with diverse partners, including Fortune 500 in-house counsels and top IP law firms.
