Shogakukan, Globis Capital Partners, ANRI, and others led the round. Funds will advance deep learning-based localization and launch a digital manga store in 2024.

Founded by CEO Shoko Ugaki, Orange aims to enhance manga localization capabilities, supporting Japanese-English translations and other languages for global distribution.

In summer 2024, the "emaqi" digital manga store will debut in the US, featuring AI-curated content and influencer recommendations.
