Multitude Insights, a Cambridge, MA-based AI-driven law enforcement solution provider, secured an investment from NEC X.

NEC X, the innovation accelerator backed by NEC, led the undisclosed funding round. Multitude Insights has also joined the Elev X! Boost program to leverage strategic partnerships and NEC's tech ecosystem.

The funds will enhance the BLTN platform, which uses AI and NLP for real-time data analysis and collaboration among U.S. police departments. Founded by MIT and Harvard alumni Matthew White and Akihiko Izu, the platform aims to improve information sharing and crime analysis capabilities.

With this investment, Multitude Insights plans to expedite product development and expand its market presence, addressing critical challenges of fragmented data in law enforcement.
