Mode, a San Mateo, CA-based company in the IoT and AI domain, has secured $8.75M in Series B funding.

The funding round saw participation from SBI Investment Co., Ltd., True Ventures, JR East Startup Co., Ltd., and Daiichi Jitsugyo Co., Ltd.

The fund will aid in expanding Mode’s presence in North America, focusing on customer acquisition and potential global partnerships.

Led by CEO Gaku Ueda, Mode specializes in leveraging IoT technology for data utilization, offering tools to streamline operations in industrial settings.

In June 2023, Mode unveiled the BizStack AI Assistant, integrating generative AI with IoT to enhance operational efficiency at industrial sites.
