Lirvana Labs, a Menlo Park, CA-based edtech company, has raised $5.3M in early-stage financing.

The funding round was led by Kapor Capital III, Transcend Capital Partners II, and Chingona Ventures.

Proceeds will be used to enhance the Yeti Confetti Kids app and conduct efficacy studies in collaboration with research institutions, along with expanding partnerships with pilot schools and NGOs.

Founded in 2022 by co-CEOs Christie Pang and Clement Pang, Lirvana Labs offers an AI-powered learning companion app for preschool to elementary children, providing personalized instruction in English, Math, Social Emotional, and Critical Thinking curricula. Their platform has reached 15,000 children globally.

Lirvana Labs partners with schools in Thailand and NGOs such as Jusoor to support Syrian refugee children. They work with experts like Dr. Alexandra Chen from Harvard and Dr. Alice Siu from Stanford to ensure a comprehensive approach to learning.
