Lightium secures $7M seed funding for tech expansion
Lightium, a photonics startup based in Zurich, Switzerland, has raised $7M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Vsquared Ventures and Lakestar.
Funds will be used to accelerate the commercialization of its production-grade thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) photonic integrated circuits (PICs) foundry services.
Founded by Dr. Amir Ghadimi, Dr. Frédéric Loizeau, and MIT professor Prof. Dirk Englund, Lightium aims to enhance customer photonic solutions in various industries, including Telecom, Quantum Computing, and AI.
