Karius, Inc., a Redwood City-based genomic diagnostics leader, has secured $100M in Series C funding.

The funding round was led by Khosla Ventures with new participation from 5AM Ventures and Gilde Healthcare, among others.

With the new funds, Karius aims to expand the reach of its Karius Test® beyond the 400 U.S. hospitals currently using it, addressing increasing demand from healthcare providers.

Led by CEO Alec Ford, Karius uses genomic analysis and AI to detect over 1,000 pathogens from a single blood sample typically within a day of receipt, supporting diagnostics in healthcare institutions across the U.S.
