Innatera Secures $21M Series A Funding
Innatera, a Delft-based neuromorphic processor innovator, secured $21M in Series A funding.
The round included $16M announced earlier and an additional $5M from new investors. Key participants included Innavest and InvestNL, alongside existing investors like EIC Fund, MIG Capital, Matterwave Ventures, and Delft Enterprises.
The funds will accelerate mass production of Innatera's Spiking Neural Processor T1, targeting 1 billion devices by 2030. The T1, a breakthrough in energy-efficient AI for sensor-edge applications, combines a proprietary event-driven computing engine with a CNN accelerator and RISC-V CPU.
With production slated for late 2024 and high-volume deliveries in Q2 2025, Innatera appointed Duco Pasmooij, former VP at Apple, to its advisory board to support its growth.
