GaiaNet lands $10M seed round for expansion
GaiaNet, a San Francisco-based AI infrastructure startup, secured $10M in Seed funding.
Notable backers include Generative Ventures’s Lex Sokolin, Republic Capital’s Brian Johnson, and 7RIDGE’s Shawn Ng. The funds will be directed towards developing advanced AI training models for developers and private data holders.
GaiaNet aims to decentralize AI agent software using a distributed network of edge nodes, transforming them into AI twins of real-world experts. This innovative approach leverages proprietary domain knowledge to perform skilled tasks.
The testnet and software development kit (SDK) are set to launch in early Q3 2024, with product alpha testing already underway as of Q2 2024.
