DocuSign Buys Lexion for $165M

DocuSign, a San Francisco-based IAM company, has acquired AI agreement management firm Lexion for $165M in cash.

This acquisition includes Lexion’s founders, CEO Gaurav Oberoi, CTO Emad Elwany, and Principal Architect James Baird, who will take senior roles at DocuSign.

The strategic move will enhance DocuSign’s IAM platform, integrating advanced AI capabilities to strengthen its market position.

DocuSign, led by CEO Allan Thygesen, serves over 1.5 million customers globally with e-signature and CLM solutions.

Lexion, founded in 2019, will bring its expertise and a team of AI engineers with experience from Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft to DocuSign.
