Defcon AI secures $44M in seed round
Defcon AI, based in McLean, VA, has raised $44M in Seed funding to advance its MS&A toolset for military use.
Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, with Fifth Growth Fund and Red Cell Partners also participating. Christopher Wan of Bessemer joins the board, alongside Dr. Ray O. Johnson.
The funds will be used to expand the team, enhance R&D, and extend the company's capabilities across diverse defense missions and the commercial sector.
With expertise in AI, simulation, and analytics, Defcon AI's tools aid in strategic planning for transportation and logistics within military operations.
