The funding round was led by Hoxton Ventures, with participation from Basis Set Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and several other notable investors.

CuspAI will use the funds to expand operations and accelerate development efforts. The company leverages generative AI and deep learning to innovate in material design.

Founded by Professor Max Welling and CEO Dr. Chad Edwards, CuspAI aims to revolutionize material discovery with its advanced AI platform. The company recently partnered with Meta to contribute to open science initiatives addressing climate change.
