The round was led by Union Square Ventures, with participation from Nat Friedman, Daniel Gross, Draper Associates, Kevin Carter, Path Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. The funds will support operational expansion and business outreach.
Founded by Eric Olson and Christian Salem, Consensus aims to enhance access to scientific research, serving key sectors like academia, healthcare, and biosciences.
Since its launch in Winter 2022, Consensus has over 400,000 monthly active users and nearly $2M in annualized revenue, growing by over 600% in 2024 alone. The platform also attracts users from finance, journalism, and personal health enthusiasts.
