ConnectWise, a Tampa, FL-based IT management software company, has acquired Axcient and SkyKick. The amounts were not disclosed.

With these acquisitions, ConnectWise aims to bolster its cybersecurity and data protection offerings, positioning itself as a stronger defender against cyber threats like ransomware and phishing.

Axcient, led by CEO Rod Mathews, provides Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) solutions that enable quick recovery from disruptions. SkyKick, led by co-CEOs Todd Schwartz and Evan Richman, specializes in cloud management software and has a global footprint with offices in Amsterdam and Sydney.

ConnectWise, under CEO Jason Magee, will leverage these acquisitions to enhance its Asio platform, which offers modern UX, open APIs, and advanced automation and AI capabilities to MSPs for improved business management and growth.
