Climavision, based in Louisville, KY, has acquired Fort Collins, CO-based Intersphere to bolster its weather forecasting capabilities.

While the deal's financial terms were not disclosed, the acquisition will allow Climavision to enhance its offerings by integrating Intersphere’s advanced subseasonal-to-seasonal (S2S) forecasting technology.

Climavision's CEO Chris Goode emphasizes that combining the two companies’ AI-powered models and expertise will improve forecast accuracy and speed, benefiting industries like energy, insurance, and agriculture.

Led by CEO Ben Toms, Intersphere's proprietary AI models enhance future weather predictions, providing critical information for strategic business decisions. Climavision will leverage these capabilities along with its own supplemental weather radar network and advanced modeling techniques to deliver superior weather intelligence.
