Butlr secures $38M Series B for expansion
Butlr, a Burlingame, CA-based physical AI startup, has raised $38M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Pacific Alliance Venture, GS Futures, and DNX Ventures, alongside notable participants Ray Stata, Joi Ito, Carrier, and Qualcomm.
The investment will bolster Butlr's expansion, especially in senior care communities, leveraging its AI platform that discerns activity and occupancy while preserving privacy.
Founded as an MIT Media Lab spinout and led by CEO Honghao Deng, Butlr’s innovative sensors and data analytics are utilized by companies such as Walmart, 9solutions, and Verizon to enhance real estate planning, health monitoring, and energy efficiency.
With this funding, Butlr aims to solidify its position in the market, transforming how businesses understand and optimize physical spaces.
