Box Inc., a Redwood City, CA-based intelligent content cloud company, has acquired Alphamoon Technology, a Wroclaw, Poland-based AI-powered IDP technology firm. The financial details were not disclosed.

This strategic acquisition aims to bolster Box AI by automating document-related tasks and extracting valuable metadata from critical business content across various industries.

Founded in 2005 and led by CEO Aaron Levie, Box helps organizations manage the entire content lifecycle with enterprise AI. Its clients include AstraZeneca, JLL, Morgan Stanley, and Nationwide.

Alphamoon's advanced technology, which combines large language models with proprietary OCR and document processing capabilities, will expand Box AI's functionality, enabling smarter document processing at scale.
