Axelera AI, an Eindhoven-based AI hardware acceleration tech company, secured $68M in Series B funding.

Investors included Invest-NL Deep Tech Fund, European Innovation Council Fund, Innovation Industries Strategic Partners Fund, and Samsung Catalyst Fund, among others, to expand business and operations.

With CEO Fabrizio Del Maffeo and CTO Evangelos Eleftheriou, Axelera AI will leverage the funds to enhance its Metis™ AI platform for Edge AI inference, delivering superior performance and efficiency.

The additional capital complements previous investments from Bitfury, CDP Venture Capital, and others, helping Axelera AI advance its R&D efforts across various international offices.
