Avalon, an Orlando-based independent game studio, secured $10M in funding for developing their debut multiplayer online game.

The round was led by Bitkraft Ventures and Hashed, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Spartan Capital, Foresight Ventures, LiquidX, and Momentum6.

Founded by Sean Pinnock, Avalon aims to create a game featuring interoperability of assets and player progression across worlds, appealing to both web2 and web3 gamers.

Funds will be utilized to advance their eponymous title, leveraging AI technologies from Didimo and Inworld AI to offer real-time character interaction.

The game is currently under development for PC and cloud streaming platforms.
