ArcanaBio, a Copenhagen-based biotech firm, secured funding from the BioInnovative Institute (BII) to advance its diagnostic tech innovations.

The financial injection, whose amount remains undisclosed, will facilitate the expansion of ArcanaBio's operations and R&D initiatives.

Led by CEO Kristjan Gunnarsson, the company specializes in nano-photonics and biosensors, seeking to bring lab-grade diagnostics to everyday environments using AI and liquid biopsy solutions.

ArcanaBio will participate in BII’s Deep Tech Lab – Quantum program starting September 2024 in Copenhagen.
