Berlin-based ProcureTech startup akirolabs secured a 7-digit non-dilutive grant from Investitionsbank Berlin and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The funds will be used to enhance their AI/LLM capabilities, strengthen their position as an AI-first ProcureTech B2B SaaS company, and accelerate product and talent development.

Founded by Michael Pleuger, Detlef Schultz, Christoph Flöthmann, and Tim Ergenzinger in 2021, akirolabs offers an AI-powered SaaS platform for strategic procurement.

This grant follows their recent $5M Seed funding, further supporting their mission to optimize procurement processes through advanced AI technology.
