Accacia, a Singapore-based decarbonisation platform, has secured $6.5 million in pre-Series A funding.

The round was led by Illuminate Financial, with participation from AC Ventures, Accel, and B Capital.

Funds will enhance operations and development efforts, boosting their AI-enabled SAAS platform for real estate and infrastructure decarbonization.

Founded in 2022, Accacia offers advanced tools to measure carbon risks and suggest strategies, covering over 25 million sqft of real estate already.

CEO Annu Talreja emphasized the importance of the funding amid new SEC and SGX carbon emissions regulations, highlighting the urgency for real-time climate risk data.
